Is Kramena really free?

Yes. You can read complete catalog books on the free daily schedule. The next Episode becomes ready at your Daily Episode Time. Optional Lifetime Membership is a one-time purchase for immediate continuation and available Reading Companion material. Personal Book imports are separate purchases. See how free reading works.

Are these full books or summaries?

Full, unabridged books. Episodes divide the book's reading material into a sequence of sessions. Optional Companion recaps are separate from the book and cover only what you have already read. Learn about Episodes.

Will Reading Companion spoil the story?

Reading Companion only covers Episodes you have completed. Its recaps help you remember what happened, and its character tracker shows names and character notes up to that same point in the book. Both are included with Lifetime Membership on supported books, starting after your first completed Episode.

Can Kramena help me read more consistently?

Kramena gives you a next Episode to return to, a shared daily reading time, and a saved place when you pause. Read without streaks, deadlines, or catch-up pressure. Try a small daily reading routine.

What books can I find here?

The catalog includes classic novels, mysteries, adventure, science fiction, fantasy, plays, poetry, philosophy, and nonfiction. Explore authors such as Jane Austen, Arthur Conan Doyle, Mary Shelley, and H. G. Wells. Browse the current catalog.

Can I read a book with other people?

Yes. Create a Reading Group, choose a book as host, and read one Episode each day together. Each Episode has a private group discussion, so you can talk about what you have just read while the story is still unfolding. See how Reading Groups work.

Do I need a group to discuss an Episode?

No. Catalog books have Episode discussions for readers outside groups too. You can rate an Episode from 1 to 10, react with Love, Like, or Dislike, and add comments. Sign in to take part. Personal Book imports do not have shared discussions.

Where can I read? Do I need an account?

Read in the Android app, available on Google Play, or open the web reader in your browser. You do not need a Kramena Account to read catalog books. An account lets you follow readers, visit their profiles, join Reading Groups, and take part in Episode discussions. Kramena does not show ads.
